subdomain on seperate server

Hi,
Not sure which section to post this question.

Can we configure and run a sub domain on a separate server?
Like we have a domain running on GigaDeal. The account and the databases and other stuff has grown larger in size over the years.

Its running smooth (thanks to JPC) and would not like to touch or move it.

The alternative we planned is to have a sub domain configure to other server, but not sure where to start. Is this can be done?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes, it can be done. Simply purchase another account (on another server) with subdomain name and ask support to change the A record of the subdomain to point to the new server's IP. We offer unlimited space on Gigadeal, however if you want to manage a subdomain on another server in any case, this can be done for you.
