Registering your name-servers at aletiaNIC.com

Hi,

This will walk you through registering the name-servers for example.com.

ns1.example.com has the IP address 192.168.2.1
ns2.example.com has the IP address 192.168.2.2

Tip: Make sure ns1 and ns2 also have A records configured on your name-servers or you will have intermittent resolution issues

Step 1.

Browse to http://aletiaNIC.com and click the Login link at the Top.



Step 2.

Log into your account using your user name and password that was provided to you when you created your account. If you do not know your user name and password and you are unable to reset it please open a ticket with our sales department.



Step 3

Click on the "X domain names" hyperlink as shown below:



Step 4

Click on the "Register DNS" link as shown below:



Step 5

Registering your first name server ns1.example.com with the IP address 192.168.2.1.



Step 6

You will now get a page showing you the name-server has been added.

Click OK to go back to the register DNS page to register the second name-server.



Step 6

Registering your second name server ns2.example.com with the IP address 192.168.2.2.



Step 7

Your done!.
