Plesk + Spamassassin + Custom scoring

    Hello,

I'm having a heck of a time setting custom scores for various rules in SpamAssassin. I'm running Plesk on CentOS.

I've attempted editing /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf to add the following:

    score URIBL_SBL 1.0

Just to test whether or not the change works. However, this did not change the score assigned to that particular test.

Is there some other location of this configuration when using Plesk or am I missing something?

    Any help is appreciated.

    - Adam

Anyone? Surely the default values are saved somewhere.

Well, I didn't want to look supremely stupid, but since you're begging... under CPanel each user can create a custom score. It's stored in /home/username/.spamassassin/user_prefs

and in mine are lines like
    Code:
    score BAYES_00 -5.0
    score BAYES_05 -3.0
    score BAYES_20 -2.0
    score MIME_QP_LONG_LINE 0.0
    score SARE_GIF_ATTACH 0.0
    score AWL -5.0
    score SPF_PASS -5.0

But it's maybe only a CPanel thingy.
    Good luck
