I recently updated to the latest release of Cpanel on our VPS and we now have VPS optimized logo on the header of Cpanel and webmail.
Anyone know how to remove that?

You can check cPanel's official documentation for cPanel customizations at the URL below to create custom cPanel headers in themes.

I did a ticket today regarding this and I have reported this to cPanel's bugzilla.

You may vote for the resolution of this bug by visiting the above URL and pressing "Vote for this bug". More the votes, greater the chance of this being resolved in future versions of cPanel.
This was actually quite easy. I cloned the X3 template and named it something different. I then went into branding and changed the logo manually for the skins. Once done, I went ahead and upgraded all accounts to access my new template.
As a recommendation, do not just edit the X3 Templates. It appears that your changes could be overwritten on the next CPanel Update.

Glad to hear you got this taken care of. Cpanel in their great wisdom, has said they will not change it, which makes no sense whatsoever. I can understand having it in WHM, but having it show up in cpanel is completly stupid.

Ya I would agree. It's funny this topic got brought up, because when the switch first happened, I thought the same complaint about the logo.
It makes perfect sense for it to only be shown in WHM where an admin can see what exactly they're running.
Nomsane?
That is all.
