    Plesk 9 and Postfix

OK, I'm mainly venting my frustration at the moment, but I am fed up with working around Plesk. I upgraded to Plesk 9 primarily because of the option of using Postfix "officially." Well, I finally completed the upgrade today after waiting a while for 9 to be out. Postfix failed to deliver incoming mail and everything was redirected to the "deferred" queue. After a few hours of trying to find any customizations I may have forgotten about, the culprit was leftovers from qmail-scanner. For anyone else using Plesk who is switching from qmail to postfix, be sure to check /usr/local/psa/handlers/before-local/recipient/{EMAIL}/ for anything resembling 10-spam-{random} as these are most likely what's stopping postfix from delivering mail (you can check /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog for errors in postfix-local that read "Unable to stat entry '/usr/local/psa/handlers/info/10-spam-ATuMmc/executable' or it is not link: No such file or directory
    " or similar).

When Plesk switches to Postfix, it doesn't remove all of the old hooks for Qmail. As a result, the queue manager tries to use these filter hooks unsuccessfully (because their referents no longer exist). I was able to just remove the hooks in /usr/local/psa/handlers/before-local/recipient/.

    DUDE!

you totally rock! that did it. i moved the contents of /usr/local/psa/handlers/before-local/recipient/ to another folder, and boom all mail went through.
