    Question Inode Usage

Just a simple question before I bother support with this, but I just got my VPS last night and before I did anything I noticed I had 200,000 of the 300,000 inode limit already used, is this normal? I'm already down to like 35k of the limit and far from done =) I know the ~5gb or so taken by cpanel, os, etc is normal, but wasn't sure about that.

    Thanks.

The 'inode' represents the number of files a VPS can have. Please open a support ticket so that we can check if there is any directory containing a lot of tiny files or if this usage is normal for your VPS. Thank you.

Thanks, I'll put one in. I knew what the Inode limit was, I just wasn't sure if a fresh installed server should have 2/3rd's of the total limit already used =)
