DNS problem on my VPS

Hi Guys,

When I log onto my VPS I get an error message saying an A entry is missing and that I need to add my ip address to use for the A entry for vps.my-domain-here.co.uk ... but when I do it does not seem to make any difference and next time I log on I get the same error message.

Also while www.my-domain-here.co.uk works just fine, mail.my-domain-here.co.uk and cpanel.my-domain-here.co.uk and so on don't work either.

I have checked in "Edit DNS Zone" for my-domain-here.co.uk and all appears to be present and correct.

Either your VPS's main domain has its DNS handled outside of your VPS or named is not running on your VPS (less likely). Say your VPS hostname is vps.domain.com, you need to create an 'A' record 'vps' in dns zone of domain.com pointing to your VPS main IP. You can open a support ticket so that we can assist you further.
