How to install dependencies

I have a Linux VPS...how do I install dependencies, ie:

yum install package names

Usually depending on the dependency you may have to install the dependency yourself to resolve dependency issues with yum install if yum install doesn't automatically install the dependencies.

Oh, Is there any specific dependency you are having issues with? Someone here may know of a resolution...
