    Frustating - now on Hybrid

    Ticket ID = 13007869

What can you do? Your WHM tells you all your services are UP. But they are DOWN. No POP, no SMTP, no HTTPD. You can see the CPUs on the server are being hammered by someone, yet your own VPS is trickling over at 3% CPU load or so.

Your access to WHM is on and off, your SSH also falls over every now and then.

What do you do? Post to the forum. I have clients ringing me again. They have not been able to access their email for 3 hours.

This is what I came to Hybrid to avoid after moving to VPS from reseller. It has been good for 2 weeks, but once again, I am powerless while some one sucks the server dry of CPU cycles.

HTTPD is now up for clients on their own IPs, but shared IP is down for all users. Still no POP or SMTP.

Check this out: I can see that POP is down

    Restarting cpop gives me:

cppop has failed, please contact the sysadmin.

    - looking at the service list in WHM you see that it reports it as being UP:

So what the heck can you do about it?

Let me see, 3 hours and counting. It's almost 8pm in Texas. I wonder why this happens when the day shift at JPC go home?
