    Still Waiting...

    Hi, my partner and I ordered hosting over nine days ago. Why has it not been setup yet? We have contacted sales each day and all they have responded with were generic things such as "Your account should be setup within the next few hours", etc. What in the world is going on? Why are we having to wait so long?

    So far this experience has been terrible. We have been patient for over 9 days now but to no avail the hosting has still not been setup. I have already reported JaguarPC to the BBB, and I'm afraid after today we are going to cancel our hosting. This is just inconvenient for us and for you all it's a terrible business practice.

    I'm not sure what you wish to accomplish with the BBB report since you aren't a client yet. I replied to the other thread you posted in and we're happy to refund you if you have paid already and still give you the account with that first month and two others free as our way of saying sorry for the delay. There isn't much I can do about the bbb complaint, even the bbb asks if you have tried to contact and work it out with the vendor first.

    I'm here, we are all here, ready and working to get everyone going.

    We've already paid you all. I believe that constitutes us as being clients.

    I believe patience is a virtue and will accept your offer of the first month waived.

    I'm sorry if I seem hostile, I'm not trying to but seeing this "Pending" status for the last nine days will make your head hurt.

    This has been our help for the past 9 days read this and look at the times to see how long it takes between helping... Also the very last one was sent 7:55 pm which allowed 5 minutes until sales help closed so this means i will have to wait another day because he wanted to wait till the last minute to tell me that something that should be installed couldnt be installed.

    Hello,

    We are currently waiting for confirmation from you on how to proceed with the build. You chose Fedora as your OS however we do not have the templates to offer DirectAdmin as your OS as we advised in an earlier email.

    With Fedora we may be able to offer Plesk, Support tells me but other than that we'd be unable to offer a control panel. We see you were misinformed about cPanel in the other ticket. While cPanel may function with Fedora, the staff member who replied did not realize we do not offer cPanel with anything but CentOS. We apologize that the wrong information was supplied to you.

    Please let us know how you wish to proceed in terms of the OS and Control Panel. Once we have that confirmed, we will build this right away for you. Thank you.

    Plesk limits the amount of domains you can host on the VPS depending on the license you choose (10,100,Unlimited).

    OK thats what i thought lets do 10 domains 3$ a month and add 2 ips so you dont have to credit anything back since i signed up for directadmin which was 5$... Thank you and hopefully you get this up now

    Hi,

    Plesk is the only control panel software that will support fedora core but it seems that it has issues with FC11. We can try to get this setup on a older version of fedora or we can open a ticket with Parallels regarding this but it will take a while to get this working for you.

    If your intending to use this for a production server I'd recommend you go with CentOS instead of Fedora as Fedora is more of the development branch for testing new features and ideas.
    I do work for JaguarPC. If you do need help please provide your ticket number (this isn't sensitive information).
