    Should I request OS Re-install?

I am a newbie to VPS and a couple of days ago I did an OS Re-install through the VPS Control Panel. After that was complete, MySQL was not working and RV Skins was missing. Support fixed that for me but then I ran into some problems with FTP (no directories/files listed) and that was also fixed by Support very quickly.

Now I am having some problems with FTP through SSH and I was wondering: is it wise to request a complete OS Re-install for ($15)?

I mean: if JaguarPC does a re-install do they do more than just a re-install and adding RV-skins? I really don't mind paying the $15-fee, I just want a complete and secure setup.

    Regards,
    Til

Til, it is not recommended to reinstall the OS via power panel. I would request you to open a ticket so that we can see if your issue can be resolved without a VPS reset up. If a VPS reset up is necessary, we would request you to backup any vital data you have uploaded on your VPS currently so that we can reset up your VPS and perform the basic security hardening.

Jawad, thank you for you reply. There is no vital data yet on the VPS so I will just request a VPS re-setup and basic security hardening.
