httpd status is stopped in Virtuozzo

HTTPD status is showing stopped in Virtuozzo but everything appears to work. I am unable to restart it in Cpanel. I keep getting "Page cannot be displayed".

Any input on this? I am trying to update a root certificate and need to restart this service. It won't restart though.

    atechstl,

For checking or restarting Apache service please use WHM interface instead of Virtouzzo. If you continue to face any issue then open a support ticket and we will check it.

Different control panels set things up on the server differently. Virtuozzo is developed by Parallels, the makers of the Plesk control panel. The service indicators in Virtuozzo are built around the setup of a Plesk server. For that reasons, displays may be incorrect and actions may not work when you use Virtuozzo.

If cPanel fails you when trying to restart a service, you can also do it via the command line. If you are running a RedHat-derived OS (CentOS, Fedora) you can most likely log in to SSH as root and run the following:

    Code:
    service httpd restart
