Hi BadMonkey,
We are sorry to hear that you are facing this issue. Can you please open a support ticket so that techs can check the node and status of your server? Thank you for your patience so far.
Actually, you've already responded to my ticket - it is 13067563.
Hi,
Thanks for the update. Please feel free to update the ticket if you need any further assistance on this.
You're out of line any time you demand something.
OK then, how about I ask nicely and not take no for an answer?
Seriously, I think the server I'm on (Mongoose) has serious hardware problems. It has given me nothing but grief since I've been on it. I'd like to lower the stress in my life and this would be a good place to start.
I sense resistance to my "polite" request to move my container to another server. My ticket has not had a reply in nearly 3 hours.
Give them abit of time they may have to get it ok'ed by higher member of staff.
I am sure they will sort you out.
Hi BadMonkey,
Server moves take time and need to preformed by our level 2 staff which means that it will take some time to get you moved.
I do work for JaguarPC. If you do need help please provide your ticket number (this isn't sensitive information).
If I'm not active on the forum please open a ticket instead of PMing me. If you think the issue requires access to your server please open a ticket.
I hope that Greg reads this. You guys really need to look at the your policies and procedures on dealing with bad servers. If a server starts experiencing serious problems like Mongoose, you really need to have a spare server on standby. I understand that crap happens, but it really is not acceptable to let your customers deal with downtime that extends into days (and not compensate them for the downtime either). I'm a patient person, but I really can't take much more of this poor service.
our deducated server is down all day today and still down. this is not the first time, you can guss the number of server down this month. Some of our clients are moving away from us due to bad service. Thanks to JaquarPc.
we were reffered by friends who were happy at first but they are no longer so. I'm plaming them now, and myself too.
here is what Jaquarepc is saying about my tickets:
"Our Data center techs tried power cycling this server however it just keeps rebooting itself before it even begins to load the OS. They are not checking it further."
We are very unahppy and damage is done. we could face some claims from our customers.
I'm not sure what is going on with JaguarPC's servers lately. If you check the Server, Network, and Service Announcements forum, you will notice that quite a few servers have been failing and accounts have to be moved to a new server. Maybe they bought a batch of bad hardware.
Much of my problems came from the fact that they kept trying to fix the server instead of replacing it or moving my account. This meant I had a server that kept going down almost hourly for days. As you pointed out, this damages your reputation as users blame you for the downtime - not fun at all.
Please open a ticket with support department with account transfer request and we will surely move your account to other server with same php and mysql requirements.Much of my problems came from the fact that they kept trying to fix the server instead of replacing it or moving my account.
