Anybody here because I dont think there is anyone in support... Opened a ticket 24 hours ago - our site has been down for 24 ...

    Angry Backup restoration from cdp

    Anybody here because I dont think there is anyone in support...

    Opened a ticket 24 hours ago - our site has been down for 24 hours - need to do a restore from our CDP - it dosent work but freezes - ask support if we could do it ourselves - one folder at a time...but been going though the same Q&A's in the ticket with no solution yet...

    support kept saying restore is in progress - but restore show nada...

    Ticket is 13077323
    customer is soon - has been...

    So a rep is looking into the problem at 3.59 - 43 minutes later I start to wonder if it is a canned message...

    Then 1 hour and 15 min later up pops a rep saying he is looking into the issue...

    So are they now to people doing this - or was the first one just BS? you do the math...

    I would probably laugh about this if it wasn’t because i just had to pay our client 250 Dollars for not delivering our service for 24 hours now - and have 5 REAL employees sitting and waiting in the office WITH SALERY to move the restore files back again....

    After venting some air about I must also give credit when it is due and Awais actually managed to do where others have failed.

    Seems it is now restoring our data

    Yes, that "A customer service representative has begun.." is indeed a canned response. I like it; it lets you know someone is on it.

    I wonder if that "Let us know if you need further assistance." is also added by the system itself. It looks odd in some places, like where you are quoting it. Of course you need further assistance, that's what he's working on, right?
