    Snapshots

A customer's merchant ran a remote security audit on the server. They found vulnerabilities and we have to fix them or they will start fining my client.

Some of the vulnerabilities are simply upgrading services to the newer versions but I am scared to do this and break any websites on the server.

I see in Virtuozzo we can make a snapshot, but it is only limited to one. Once a snapshot is made then deleted, are we allowed to make another?

    Hi atechstl,

From snapshot if you mean the VPS backup that can be created from VZPP then yes, if you remove the old snapshot, you can create another one. If you have any confusion or question please feel free to open a ticket with Technical Support Department. Thank you.

I'll see if I can find the thread here, but I had a major run-in with a security audit a couple years ago and it turned out that the credit card bulldog was misinterpreting the law. Will edit this comment with the link as soon as I can.

Here it is: security help please

Those who know all the answers haven't heard all the questions.

How can people look at the space shuttle and say "Design!" yet look at its designers and say "Accident!"?

    Questions about Backups

I have a VPS server with a few CPanel accounts setup. If I do daily Full Backups through the CPanel interface (for each CPanel account on the VPS) is this enough to restore anything and everything is issues arise like data corruption, MySQL database corruption, viruses, etc...?
