Questions about Backing up a VPS Account

I have a VPS server with a few CPanel accounts setup. If I do daily Full Backups through the CPanel interface (for each CPanel account on the VPS) is this enough to restore anything and everything if issues arise like data corruption, MySQL database corruption, viruses, etc...?

Are you copying these off the VPS?

speaking of backups, is there a quick and easy way to back up all cpanel account to a separate space on a VPS?
i have tons of space and this would save me with my customers, but I know not be a perfect way to run the backups.... more of a security blanket than a solution
