Thumbs down I pay my bills! Keep my license current!

I pay my bills to Jaguar (and believe me they are in the hundreds per month) why the heck can't you (Jaguar) keep my licenses current?

I lease WHMCS from Jag for a VPS server that I in turn lease the Jaguar WHMCS licenses to clients, and who's flipping license runs out? MINE!

And how long to issues a new license? That sounds like a simple enough task right? Should it take HOURS? I wouldn't let that happen to one of my clients but it is taking HOURS for my license to be renewed! I PAID MY BILL! Why is it expired anyway?

AND! I have a dedicated server client who has a server down but can't log into the help desk!

    This is a joke!

Check it now, it appears that something on that account was changed, as the license was showing as pointed to an IP instead of a domain name. It has been reissued.

Jim I just checked it and it's the same thing. I have always used the IP address to checki n.

"Your license key [removed for your protection] is invalid. Possible reasons for this include:
An incorrect license key has been used
The IP Address your system is using has changed
The domain you are using has changed
The directory you are using has changed

You can reissue your license from the WHMCS client area to save the new IP, Domain & Directory settings and get your WHMCS system working again.

Got a new license key? Click here to enter it"

Now I can use the domain name and folder and it gives me the log in screen. I can log in now.

So why the change? I have a link in my Opera browser that goes to the WHMCS Admin login using the ip and have used it for ever. It has always worked but for some reason I have to use the domain name now.

The client login Still gives a error: "License Validation Failed."
This is strange. I went into the admin and changed the password for my personal client account and then it allowed me in.

    Strange.

I think I'll buy another WHMCS license (owned) this use to happen to me at Reseller Zoom. WHMCS has some glitch in it's leased license security.

    Any way, It's working now.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I've removed the license number from your post. You don't want to share or give out that number as someone may try to use it.

The license is current with WHMCS however, they (WHMCS) is extremely picky when it comes to any sort of changes on the account it's licensed to. If you move the folder it's installed to, change the domain, change the IP, anything, it will render the key invalid until we "refresh" it.

I'm glad to hear this is resolved though. Feel free to contact us if it happens again.
