Vps and plesk error

i have windows server 2008 vps with plesk 9.5.2 . after upload license it gives me this error:

Error: The license key is invalid. In order to use the Parallels Plesk Panel, please obtain and install a new functioning license key. The license key is intended only for use with Parallels Plesk Panel operating inside a Parallels Virtuozzo Containers virtual environment.

should we have Virtuozzo on our WS2008 vps ?
any idea ??

Virtuozzo manages virtualization of the OS and in turn all the VPSes. I can only suggest you try to "retrieve keys" in your Plesk Panel under "License Management". If this does not work, contact the host or parallels support directly. They should be able to assist you regarding this.

Virtuozzo is a software package that essentially emulates a real computer. In a nutshell it allows the administrator of the server to set up any number of virtual computers on one actual computer. There are several similar products available, such a VMWare, Xen, Microsoft Virtual Server, and Solaris Zones. JPC chose to use Virtuozzo for most of their hosting offerings, but your host could be using something else.

Wikipedia has a lot of information on virtualization (some of it is rather technical, though) if you want to understand what's going on under the hood. You can start here for an overview, or go here to get an idea of how many different software packages exist that provide the basic functionality that Virtuozzo does.
