    I tried to update to Lenny from Etch and it didn't go well. They had to reinstall my VPS because of the kernel. The best bet is to install CentOs.

    I guess you won't be able to install Squeeze on a VPS.

    Hi,

    Anything that involves a kernel update or changing your init-scripts will break your container.

    I would not try to update major OS versions without verifying it is a safe upgrade on OpenVZ.
    I do work for JaguarPC. If you do need help please provide your ticket number (this isn't sensitive information).
