    Thumbs down What is Your Issue with ETA and details?

    Why Down Server are taking so much time to be solved?

    newsnake.nocdirect.com has been down for more than 5 hours, all i got please hold on we are working on the issue!!!!

    this doesnt work when you have a costumer waiting and i cant wait an ETA for the website to go up!!!!!

    it happened before with another VPS and now it is happening again this is putting me in a bad shape in front of my costumers!!!!!

    We need to be provided with an ETA and with full details of the work done on the node

    The original server didn't post on boot, we moved the drives and Raid card to a new machine but then Raid card failed to see the drives there. It took us some time to locate a replacement raid card. Finally we have replaced the card and new card detected the drives. The server then fscked /vz partition which again took some time. Fsck has been completed and we have racked the server. Currently we are working on configuring network on new NIC card.

    Simply unacceptable & ridiculous.
    It took us some time to locate a replacement raid card.
    Masood WHY????

    My question is how to avoid such issue?

    This absolutely reaks. It took all I had to convince people that all is well and we should stay, but this is just too much. This "replacement" for the very troublesome "snake," what, lasted a couple weeks before crashing? I was just about to buy another account for a customer who is starting a web design / hosting company. I just cannot in good faith.

    Yes we aren't happy about this either. The recovery should have been faster. We have more improving to do so we can win back your trust.

    Les, I love JPC - I hated to write what I did. If one looks at the history of snake and now its replacement, it is hard not to formulate the words I did.
