    Question Website Access

    Hello!
    I'm a new JaguarPC client, very happy about it.

    I'm trying to get my website running, yet there are one or two hiccups.

    1st, JaguarPC's team already migrated all the information from our old shared server, to the new dedicated one here.

    Ok, I can log in to WebHost Manager (WHM), and I see two accounts:
    #1 is 'admin', and I created that one last week
    #2 is 'website', which is the one that contains all our website's indformation

    I opened a ticket here at JaguarPC, and they moved everything into this new 'website' account.

    Ok, I can open the CPanel of that new 'website' account by visiting ip.ip.ip.ip/cpanel and then using the account 'website' and its password.

    My question #1:::
    How do I access the data in there?
    I'm running a vBulletin installation, and I want to access forum.php
    I SSH'd into our new dedicated server @ JaguarPC using the 'website' account.
    When I search the directories, inside public_html/ we do have the forums/
    And in there, we do have forum.php

    Yet when I visit ip.ip.ip.ip/~website/forums/forum.php I get a 404 error.
    Anything I have to do? Change? Check mark?

    And my quick question #2:::
    I SSH into the server using the root account.
    When I search the server, I don't see the two accounts' files (admin and website).
    Where should I find them?
    Or is 'root' an account apart from the others, and thus can't see those files?

    Much thanks in advance for your time and help!

    Hi creativeLiquid,

    Please find the answers of your questions below;

    Ans 1. It appears that you do not have pointed the sites to your server yet. In order to access your sites or specific files in it through browser before DNS propagation you can check the following kb: http://www.jaguarpc.com/support/kbase/747.html

    Ans 2. When you login as 'root' you land in the directory /root whereas the User accounts are in /home/User. So you need to change directory to /home and there you will find directories for User accounts.

    If you have more questions please open a support ticket and Techs will assist you. Thank you.
