Whats changed on my VPS today? Is there a problem with support (no response)

Support are still taking an age to even assign a ticket, let alone deal with a problem any reason for this (emergency priority) nearly 2 hours and still not assigned, I thought this was meant to be rectified and support would be responding within a 15 - 30 minute timescale)

I am unsure as to what has changed and what has been done to my VPS that would cause my VPS to have a complete httpd (apache) failure and a mysql failure at the same time.

My VPS has been running fine for ages in fact I can only think of one other problem I've had in the last 18 months, yet today my VPS is down (and therefore every site I run or host) and there is no reason that I am aware this should have happened.

After 1 hr 56 minutes (and this thread?) my ticket has been assigned
