    Introduction to VPS posts?

    Hello there,

This is my first VPS that I am managing, I am am browsing the forums, but finding bits and pieces of the information I am looking for. Is there a collection of resources for someone in my position?

For example, how can I get from point A (receiving my VPS login details after I ordered) to point B (hosting a domain on the VPS?)

For a beginner, none of this is easy to find on the forums, can we make a sticky on the subject? Just like the post "Securing and Optimizing your server"

I am not a total beginner, I run Ubuntu at home and I am comfortable with the shell, but since this is my first VPS where I will be responsible for my clients websites, I have to do this right from the beginning.

If your VPS has any particular control panel e.g. cPanel then please check out its documentation. Its available within WHM/cPanel or at cpanel website. You can find all the basic steps for creating accounts etc. in there. Their documentation is pretty good including many video tutorials as well. You can also find more videos tutorials on our support center JaguarPC Customer Support Center
