Hello JaguarPC,
For the past couple of months I have been hosting a small website and Teamspeak 3 server (For a small gaming guild) through the Linux VPS Pro package I am currently renting. The service has been very excellent so far and I have been very happy with JaguarPC as my host.
The only problem that we have encountered so far is random server disconnects from the server which affects the HTTP server and the Teamspeak 3 server. During this time the website will not accept any traffic and the browser just sits and trys loads the page, and everyone in the teamspeak 3 server loose connection at the same time. The outage never lasts more than 30 seconds (that I have witnessed). Also during this time I can't access the main JaguarPC.com page.
The problem occurs at least once a day, and will most times occur multiple times a day.
As far as I can tell it seems like a network issue. I have been racking my brain against this issue for the last 3 weeks or so trying to track it down. I called tech support once and tried to inquire about the problem and we discussed restarting the vps and services regularly to make sure it wasn't memory leaks or anything of that nature. And the problem persists.
I have updated Teamspeak 3 regularly as updates are released. I have also checked our usage stats and we don't seem to be overloading our server in any way.
I am very eager to find a solution to this issue as I have been getting not so nice remarks from our members about how unhappy they are with this issue. And it looks like we may loose some people due to this issue as well.
I am on the Raoden node.
Thanks,
James G
