I updated a ticket (13460844) yesterday notifying support that my sites were down and that MYSQL had failed and would not restart.
I did eventually get a response on the sites and later they got them up and running but MYSQL is still down and will not restart. This is effecting my main site. For the past two days visitors are greeting by a 500 Internal Server error....
Has anyone had issues with this before and is there anything that can be done to correct this?
------------
Error produced while attempting to restart:
Restarting MySQL Server
Waiting for mysql to restart...............finished.
mysqld_safe (/bin/sh /usr/bin/mysqld_safe --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --pid-file=/var/lib/mysql/vps.averyj.com.pid) running as root with PID 32327
mysqld (/usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/ --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql --pid-file=/var/lib/mysql/vps.averyj.com.pid --skip-external-locking) running as mysql with PID 32351
mysql has failed, please contact the sysadmin (result was "mysql is not running").

The support team is generally great and may be bogged down at the moment with other issues. But I'm getting somewhat desperate. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated!
