    About Unmanaged Servers

    I am about to purchase a dedicated server, maybe 2 or 3. My question is will everything be set up that I need. This includes PHP, Perl, mySQl, etc... I am getting the one with Cpanel and then will take HostGUI once it is released. Will adding sites and domains be easy or will I have to install special software for that too?

    Cpanel does make cake work of adding sites to your server. Hostgui takes it a step further adding support, billing, client management, and some other tweaks.

    They are standard with most *nix installs but will likely have to be updated....another chore cpanel does for you during the time of install.
