Question SPAM to invalid email address

    Hi All,

For some reason, we seem to be receiving quite a few spam messages addressed to an invalid email address. The address is chancellory@peaceantigo.org

Is there something we can do to stop messages that are sent to our domain to this address? I have a copy of the long headers from one of the messages. Thank you for your help with this rather annoying issue.

Spammers have many means to get hold of addresses and once in their database, your email address will continue receiving spam.
If an address does not exist, you will only receive an email if you have a default address setup. Default address has the drawback to draw any emails destined for non-existent addresses and sometimes unwanted spam ends up in your default address. I would request you go through the two knowledge base links below regarding this.
